This role is positioned to drive the success of the "New Health Care Company”. The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a(n) Process Technology – Process Development Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Exploring process technologies that enable new material and product concepts for HealthCare.
  • Protecting new technology developments with intellectual property filings and disclosures.
  • Developing process prototypes to generate proof of concept.
  • Collaborating with internal and/or external partners to advance process capabilities and expertise.
  • Incorporating Industry 4.0 principles and strategies where appropriate.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND seven (7) years of experience in process technology development in a private, public, government, or military environment.
OR
  • High School Diploma/GED from AND eleven (11) years of experience in process technology development in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in process technology and equipment development and modification in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Experience in developing, advancing and/or scaling up new process technologies.
  • Hands-on prototyping experience (3D Printing, equipment/tool design and modification, etc..) experience and collaborating with external partners such as suppliers, universities and others.
  • Process Controls, Infomatics, Automation and/or robotics experience
